Brackets Busted

So over the weekend I watched a few basketball games. I watched a undersized team try to pull the upset (Butler vs. Florida) and come up a few points short. I also saw the team I chose (Kansas) to win it all falter and lose to UCLA. So now that my bracket is busted, I can just sit back and watch the games. There is always next year and the beginning of a new sport to watch. Like baseball...
Opening day is less than a week away. Of course I'll be cheering for the Boston Red Sox and for the Chicago Cubs. I'll cheer even harder for the New York Yankees to lose.

March Madness

Every year it begins about this time. It is the beginning of the men's college basketball tournament. It's the opportunity for one of 65 schools to win the national championship. It is when excitement occurs for seeing your team win a close game as well as watching an underdog upset a major program. It last for 3 weeks, but for me it's my favorite thing to watch. I will even schedule my work schedule around watching the games on tv. Maybe my reason for watching the games and being so excited is due to growing up in Indiana were basketball is treated like God or maybe its the unpredictablity of what the outcome will be. Whatever the reasons, I love it. I hope all the games are close, upsets happen, and that Kansas wins.

The Hair Cut

So for the past few months I've been shaving my head on my own. Though yesterday I decided to have Alyssa do it for me. She is a beautician, but had never shaved a person's head bald before. Not bad for a first timer. I'd let her cut and shave my head again. It's always easier for me to have someone else to do, than for me to have to do it myself.

The Info

So a friend of mine has a blog on here and in order to post a comment I have to start my own blog. I doubt I post very many exciting topics to read, but who knows. I love sports and exercise. I'm not a health freak, but a person should exercise regularly. If you need help with that, I can motivate or provide the encouragement you may need as I'm a personal trainer as part of my job responsibilities. I'm highly independent and rarely ask for help. I enjoy simple things like naps and girl scout cookies. I enjoy helping people and volunteer where I can. I live in the Midwest, but if I get a job offer outside of here I'd leave. I love the mountains and the beach. Who doesn't like being in the sun? The mountains, it's a place to reflect on your inner thoughts and the blessings of life and what God has done for man. Though a person doesn't have to be on the beach or the mountains to enjoy both. I think that's a good start for my blog. Until next time...
